Welcome to Mumconomy.
An online service marketplace for NZ mums to earn an income from home.
You don’t need a business, a qualification, or everything figured out to get started.
If you can help someone – you can earn here.
Step 1: Choose how you want to start
I know what I want to offer
Create a simple listing describing:
- What you can help with
- Who it’s for
Listings are sent for approval to help us provide legitimate listings, please allow up to 5 days for review and approval.
You must be the creator and provider of the things you are listing, they must be family friendly and cannot be MLMs or second-hand items.
I’m not sure what I could offer
Most mums already have valuable skills from everyday life:
- Hobbies you can teach others
- Cooking or baking skills
- Business Admin or online tasks
- Supporting other mums in parenting and life
- Makeup and hair 1-to-1 advice
- Organising spreadsheet templates and ebooks
Step 2: How you’ll earn
- You set your own price
- You choose when you work
- You decide what you offer
- Currently you can simply message your bank details or payment link to buyers
You can start with:
- One-off tasks
- Small jobs
- Flexible work that fits around your family
Step 3: When someone contacts you
- They may message you with questions
- You can agree on details together
- Keep communication clear and friendly
You’re in control of what you accept.
Important (NZ Info You Should Know)
